in april I won a free flight on porter airlines to any were they flied between then and sept 1. so (because they were my favorite airline and I wanted to spend the most time I could with them) I decided to go to Halifax. Mom came with me and we left Toronto's city centre airport on august 21 2008. After a half an hour stop in Quebec city we were on our way to Halifax.we got free snacks and a small meal, it was quite good service(I would have rather gone to Mont. tremblant though). After arriving in Halifax we took a shuttle bus to our hotel the westin nova scotian, It was a nice hotle and we had a view of the harbour. after spending 4 days in Halifax we were on our way back to Toronto. We went to the airport to catch our 4:30 pm flight to Toronto at about 10:30, most people there were going to Toronto via Ottawa. so we walked around the airport a bit and saw an RAF nimrod arrive, the first porter flight of the day left at about 12:00, then another arrived at 2:00pm then flight 509(our plane) arrived from Quebec. We borded and the takoff was a little rough but nonthe less the flight was fun.
I would recomend all to fly on Porter, they currently fly from their Toronto base to chicago, Ottawa, Montreal, New york, Mont tremblant and Halifax
